There are not only skyscrapers in Tokyo but also beautiful gardens in this urban city.
#1 Hamanorikyu Onshi Teien 浜離宮恩賜庭園
The first example is Hamarikyu gardens located in Chuo. There is a teahouse within the greenish public park. The pond there is a tidal pond which seawater is drawn, which is a common style back in Edo period.
#2 Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Museum 東京都庭園美術館
Secondly, Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Museum located in Minato. The museum is an art deco housing built and resided by Prince Asaka Yasuhiko back in Meiji era. The beautiful house exhibits art deco paintings, sculptures, and architectures as well.
#3 Kyu-Iwasaki-Tei Garden 旧岩崎邸庭園
Lastly, Kyu-Iwasaki-tei Garden in Taito is another one you might want to visit and enjoy the beautiful western style residence, which was build by English architect, Josiah Condor back in Meiji era. There is also a Swiss style billiards house located within the property.
